The focus is on safety and alignment. I facilitate an environment for students to feel safe and welcome so that they can become aware of their physical body as well as their mental body. The emphasis is on awareness and mindfulness. You also want to have fun and classes are engaging and inspiring.

Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep or dreamless sleep where there are no thoughts, no content. It's a deliberate, step-by-step guided relaxation technique to help you relax and dive into the deepest state of awareness. The body and mind relax completely, and consciousness remains active. Part of the practice is to have a mind without conflict.
Pranayama is breath control, and we use breathing techniques for relaxation and for slipping into meditation.
