Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep or dreamless sleep where there are no thoughts, no content. The body and mind relax completely, and consciousness remains active. It is a deliberate, step-by-step relaxation into the deepest state of awareness.
Part of the practice is to have a mind without conflict. It is a guided relaxation technique to help you relax.
